Below is a list of common terms used in HealthEquity communications. Follow capitalizations shown

401(k)—lowercase "K" with parens and nospace after the "1"
Avoid using "very" in copy
consumer-driven healthcare(CDH)
CIP —the process individuals follow to comply with the patriot act
coinsurance—no hyphen
co-pay—with a hyphen
co-payment—with a hyphen
dependent-care FSA (DCFSA)—use "dependent-care" not "day care"
em dash—no spaces around
e-mail—use a hyphen
flexible spending account (FSA)
• FSA—no periods between the letters
• Us "an FSA", but "a flexible spending account"
• Don't use initial caps unless used in a headline
• Use "FSA's" for the possessive
• Use FSAs for the plural
health care (adj)— use two words, not one
health care (noun)—use two words, not one
HealthEquity—all one word with the "e" in Equity capitalized
HealthEquity Member Services specialist or just Member Services specialist. Use initial caps on the "m" and "s". Don't use "consultant"
HealthEquity® Visa® card—use registered trademarks on first occurrence in a headline and body copy
health reimbursement arrangement (HRA)

• HRA—no periods between the letters
• Us "an HRA", but "a health reimbursement arrangement"
• A Health Savings Account
• Don't use initial caps unless used in a headline
• Use "HRA's" for the possessive
• Use HRAs for the plural

• HSA—no periods between the letters
• Don't use "HSA Account," unabbreviated it would read Health Savings Account Account
